• What does it cost? And when are the deadlines? 
Early registration is $75. 
September 15 - October 30 
Regular registration is $95. 
October 31 - November 6 
Registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on November 6. 
• How will my child be placed on a team?
There are no tryouts in Upward Basketball. Every child will attend a mandatory evaluation (see dates below). They will be guided through a set of skills and drills that help identify each child’s skill level.  Evaluation scores are designed to create balanced teams. 
• What are the mandatory evaluations dates? 
In order to be placed on a team, every child MUST attend ONE evaluation for his/ her age division. The dates and times are: 
UPPER DIVISION 
November 1 - 9:00am - 4th thru 7th girls
November 1 - 10:30am - 4th thru 6th boys 
November 1 - 1:00pm - 7th thru 9th boys 
LOWER DIVISION 
November 3 OR 6 
Drop in anytime between 6:00 - 7:30pm 
(Less crowded around 7:00) 
• When and where do we practice? 
Practices are on Monday, Tuesday, OR Thursday evenings for one hour and take place in our gym at FBC. Practices begin the week of December 8 for two weeks, break for Christmas, and resume the week of January 5. 
• When and where do we play games?  
Games are January 9/10 through February 27/28. 
THIS FOLLOWING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE: 
4th-6th Boys - Friday nights/Saturday mornings 
4th-7th Girls - Friday nights/Saturday mornings 
7th-9th Boys - Saturday mornings 
K/1st & 2nd/3rd - begin at noon-ish on Saturdays 
• What is the height of the goal for my child’s division? 
K & 1st grade division 8 foot goal 
2nd & 3rd grade division 9 foot goal 
4th grade and up 10 foot goal 
• What size ball should my child practice with? 
K - 3rd coed 27.5” ball 
4th - 7th girls 28.5” ball 
4th - 6th boys 28.5” ball 
7th - 9th boys 29.5” ball 
• What are the uniform colors this season? 
Fever vs Pacers--yellow gold w/black & silver on one side and black w/yellow gold & silver on the other. 
Shorts are reversible black/silver. 
• Do we accept requests to play on the same team with friends? Carpool requests? 
No. We do not. 
• May I coach my child’s team? 
Yes. It would be based on availability, 
the completion of mandatory coach training, passing a criminal background check, and the completion of Ministry Safe online class. There is a maximum of two parents (from separate families) coaching one team. 
• Will my children be on the same team? 
Yes, providing they are in the same age 
division, they will be placed on the same team automatically. Be sure to leave us a reminder in the “notes” section of the online registration form.
